Graduate Studies

CCSR and the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies have a long history of mentoring graduate students, many of whom will become tomorrow’s leaders in climate science.

The Columbia University Departments of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics, and other Columbia departments cooperate together with GISS, the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory,  and International Research Institute for Climate and Society in offering a graduate program in atmospheric science. The program supports research on atmospheres and climates in all their aspects.
